In-situ remediation of a CHC-contaminated industrial site

In-situ remediation at a metal-working plant in France (Alsace).The high concentrations, the complex hydrogeology, the extensive distribution and the depth of the contamination made it necessary to implement an in-situ remediation.

Prantner delivered the following installations and systems for the treatment of groundwater and soil vapour from a total of 14 groundwater wells and 11 soil vapour extraction wells:

3 soil vapour extraction systems
strippers, activated carbon filters and catalytic air purification system with air scrubber
automatic measurement and remote monitoring system
